The Dairy cottage
Sleeps 4/5 plus cot
A tastefully decorated and furnished single storey brick and slate roofed detached property overlooking the stable yard. There is private parking for 2 cars in front and a pretty garden of around a quarter of an acre to the side and rear, mainly lawned with pretty flower beds and a rose arbour dividing it from the main grounds. There is a brick and stone paved patio area with garden furniture and barbeque for use in the summer months.
The entrance leads to a long hallway with large cloaks cupboard. There is a travel cot and folding bed in here if required.
The sitting/dining room has french windows leading onto the garden seating area, subtle lighting, oak dining table, large wall hung Panasonic television with Freeview and DVD and two sofas.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and all conceivable cookware crockery, glassware, cookbooks and tea towels etc. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the outhouse opposite.
The cloakroom has a w.c. and wash hand basin, towel, complimentary handwash toiletries and space for hanging coats.
Bedroom 1 comprises of a double 5’ wide iron four-poster bed with fluffy goose feather and down duvet. On the wall there is an large flat screen television with Freeview. The room is double aspect with french windows to the garden and has a vaulted ceiling. There is space for a travel cot or folding bed.
The large family bathroom has a corner bath, walk-in shower, basin, w.c. and bidet. There are fluffy white towels, bath mats, face cloths and complimentary toiletries.
Bedroom 2 has twin 3' beds which can convert to a 6' double bed if required, fluffy feather and down duvets and southerly views over the gardens. There is a wall hung television with DVD and Freeview.
The Dairy cottage has Dimplex electric radiator heating (this is the only extra and is paid for by meter reading), all other electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are included for 4 people. Please bring any extra bedding and towels if using cot/folding bed. Please remember to bring beach towels in the summer!
One very well behaved dog allowed by special arrangement. Smoking within the cottage is not permitted.
We can give a reduction to the price if only one bedroom is used.
If the Dairy is not large enough for your group then why not rent the Garden Cottage with it at a reduced tariff. It is situated just across the lawn. A great idea for grandparents or friends who want a little bit of privacy!
